Response time may vary depending on the severity of the snow, your personalized snow removal action plan and physical location.

Snow plowing and snow removal services rules and regulations differ in counties and also for properties. Ice treatment, hand shoveling, broadcast salt application and snow stacking are optional add-ons.

Snow Stacking and/or Snow Hauling Services

When winter storms continue to hit, snow will start piling up in parking lots and on roadsides. Stormwater Facilities moves these snow piles or ‘stacks’ the snow to clear areas of concern. If excess snow remains after stacking, Stormwater Facilities offers Snow Hauling services to remove it from the property by loading and hauling to designated dumping areas. Our large fleet of loaders and trucks are capable of this type of snow removal and can quickly mobilize depending on your location.

Are the Snow and Ice Melting Chemicals Safe?

Yes. We use bagged salt, bulk salt, magnesium chloride and Ice Melt (a common mixture). We use broadcast spreaders and only what is appropriate for the application. Most of the chemicals are washed away without harming plants and can be helpful to some vegetation.
