Training and Orientation

Stormwater Facilities, Inc. has a long-standing philosophy of taking pride in its practices to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our employees.

All Stormwater Facilities employees must complete the following new hire orientation safety training:

SAFETY TRAINING POLICY

New Hire Orientation:

    1. Safety Policy
    2. OSHA 10
    3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    4. On-The-Job HAZCOM training procedure; HAZARD COMMUNICATION (HAZCOM) INFORMATION AND TRAINING compliance PROGRAM in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standard 29 CFR 1926.59
      All employees, including sub-contractors, temporary and part-time employees, working with or potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals, will be informed and trained about the hazardous chemicals used.
    5. MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS – Familiarization
      The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is the primary document of the HAZCOM Program. Stormwater Facilities, Inc. is required by OSHA to have an SDS for each hazardous chemical used.
    6. Alcohol and Drug Testing, background and past employer checks. Stormwater Facilities is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all employees.

Supervisory Employee Mandatory Training:

    1. OSHA 30
    2. DOT Driver Training
    3. First Aid with CPR

Continuing Training:

    1. OSHA 30
    2. Daily/Weekly Toolbox Talks
    3. JSA’s
    4. HAZMAT
    5. Leadership Development
