Brandon Woods Business Park

Project Overview

Brandon Woods Business Park (Brandon Woods III) in Anne Arundel County advanced plans to build a self-storage facility and chose Stormwater Facilities for the site development and underground utility installation. This project presented construction challenges as the work is on a fly ash site requiring specific construction practices. The “fly ash” containment construction practices preserve, contain and protect the existing new infrastructure.

The new self-storage pad at Brandon Woods Business Park included furnishing and installing a public water system consisting of a new 8” water metering vault assembly, 1,600 feet of 8” water main, 6 fire hydrants and building connection, 124 feet of sewer main with one manhole, installation of a storm drain system consisting of 23 precast concrete structures, 1,200 feet of 18” and 800 feet of 15” HDPE storm drain pipe with 38 downspout connections.
